Most of the time, I end the day frustrated because I was not able to accomplish much. Then I realized that one of the reasons why we end up being unproductive is that we go to work without planning our day. Many experts and successful people have always been sharing that one of their secrets to being efficient is to have a “to do list” every single day in order to save time.
It doesn’t take much to find the high road to success, but to reach it you need an agenda for the present. You need directions for today. You need a purpose. Listen to the advice the president of Lincoln University gave to a group of incoming freshmen: “Your life can’t go according to plan if you have no plan!” – Zig Ziglar
True indeed. Having direction, purpose or agenda for the day will literally save us much time. So write down what you have to do today and accomplish them with delight and glee!
